Your doorway to Paradise

Costa Rica is a geographic wonderland full of rich tropical forests, black and white sandy beaches, mountains, volcanoes and nature more abundant than anywhere else on the planet. And this is all contained within a relatively small space roughly the size of Switzerland or West Virginia.

Despite the small size it holds 6% of the worlds biodiverity with over 1,200 varieties of orchids, 1200 species of butterflies and almost as many birds. Come here and enjoy life in its full. Here they call it "Pura Vida".

Whether you are interested in moving to Costa Rica permanently or part-time, investing here, or just coming to get away on a vacation, let Casa Canada be your doorway to Costa Rica.

Thinking of moving to Costa Rica?

Depending on your country of origin, you can remain in Costa Rica with a tourist visa for up to three month. With a drivers license of your country and a passport, you can legally drive. During this time, try to get a feel for what day-to-day life will be like -- learn first about the different culture and the different responses to given situations. In the end your ability to adapt and approach life with a relaxed attitude will govern your degree of happiness and satisfaction with Costa Rican life.

We recommend that anyone considering moving to Costa Rica, first come here as a tourist. The longer the better. It is important that in addition to knowing the logistics of estabishing residency and making the move, you get a little taste how it is like.
