The excellent left point is considered one of the longest in the world. It has a very good shape and is fast. Out on the peninsula Osa across from Pavones, about half an hour boat ride away, there you will be able to find world-class right points in Playa Matapalo. Driving about 9 km south from Pavones, you'll find the beach called Punta Banco. If you want to stay here, look up a hotel in Pavones. It has scattered beach and reef breaks. Not the best form but a good alternative if you are staying in Pavones and want to get away from the crowd for a while. If you are interested in nature don't miss to visit Tiskita Jungle Lodge, or maybe even stay there.
