Furthermore, the greater joy of eating and living after the body has been purified thru fasting, only those who have gone thru this fascinating experience are capable of understanding. The writer of these lines is on the 7th day of water extract fasting again, three months after his previous fast. He is fasting, not that he was ill in any way but that he wanted to accompany his wife on another fast which she voluntarily and anxiously wanted to undertake to purify her body to still a higher degree to prepare her for motherhood. By using this new method, fasting to us becomes so easy that it becomes a pleasure rather than a hardship as under the plain water fasting. If our multiple duties permit us we intend to fast at least 25 or 30 days. During the past three years we have received numerous letters of reports of fasting under the new method. Some who were not thoroughly acquainted with the practice of the new method of fasting or those whose bodies were heavily saturated with foreign matter and in a weakened condition experienced some difficulties, while others felt even better than when they were eating, as it is the rule when the faster is in pretty good condition. Therefore, for the benefit of our readers, especially for those who intend to submit to the process of body purification, I shall publish here a few of the typical reports of fasting under the new method and I shall comment on the difficulties which a few of the fasters met. These actual experiences will be of great value to our readers.
