But to accomplish this it would take more time than he had at his disposal. So on the 30th day of the fast he had to break it although some bilious tint still showed thru his skin. It was a pity that he could not continue his fast, since he needed time to recuperate sufficient weight and strength after the fast to enable him to return home and go back to work, as his finances were nearly exhausted.
At any rate, he could not have continued the fast much longer because his blood pressure had come down from 105 to 78, having only a pulse pressure of 16, which indicated very low vitality and time to break the fast. His weight had come down from 126 to 110. Picture 1 shows his state of emaciation when the fast was broken. Picture 2 shows the improvement already obtained when he went home three weeks after breaking the fast. At home he continued improving and he is still living and working today, four years later.
