Your method is something more than water fasting. It is purification and re-mineralization of the body at the same time. Hence, the word "fasting" is not a fitting title for your book. Fasting sounds very rude like the word "hypnotism". A better title would be "The New Purification Liquid Diet" It is the best book I ever read on the subject of fasting, and it is so simple and easy, unlike the old water fasting, of which so many patients complain. Your method is so much more advanced than any other we know of that my wife and myself would like to go to you to go through the Cleansing Purification Process, where you, the experienced teacher could be the Master. We both are overweight. We could give many reasons why it is a handicap to fast here alone. We both have only the highest praise and honour for you, Dr. de la Torre."
From Dr. H. A. Berges: ----"I am now, and so is my wife, on the 6th day of our water-extract fast and have had no reactions except that we are feeling fine and doing our regular professional work. I lost 7 pounds the first five days. My wife lost 4 pounds in the same number of days. The last two days I have not lost any weight, and my wife even gained one pound on the sixth day".
We are very much delighted with the progress we have made and are able to do as much work as ever. My wife worked every day upholstering our oversize Davenport and did a beautiful job too.
Do not sell out your property there in Costa Rica. Wait until I can go there and associate myself with you. Then you would have the kind of harmonious people you need. I believe in being honest, even though it does not pay in our world where we are surrounded by dishonest people. When I cannot feel that I am doing a patient good I very often refuse to charge for my service. But with your method of treatment that has ever been discovered that I can truthfully recommend to anyone regardless who they may be. I have fasted on water several times but this method of fasting with water extracts takes the hardship away from this marvellous process of purification.
