I think I told you a long time ago that brother Jack was a terrible drinker and smoker. He was so far gone that I could not make him read my copy of your books on Psycho-Physiopathy. But he did read Edenia, and did like it, but he did not change his ways for the better. He died before he learned how to live. On the other hand Sister Maria was just as bad as Jack in saturating her body with booze and tobacco. She had several heart attacks before Jack died. When the law of the misuse of the body made Jack pay the supreme penalty, I took all of your books to Sister Maria and told her to read them. She read them all very earnestly and conscientiously. Then she pitted into the battle of her life to conquer the two demonic killers. After months and months of terrifying struggle she won the battle. I could never convince her to live right. Your books did. She tells all her friends: "Dr. de la Torre's books did the job." You will never know how grateful sister Maria is to you. She worships the very ground you walk on. I feel the same toward you for what your books have done for her and me. Thanks very, very, very much. --- Joseph Herrick
