But the question that we must ask is not about the technicality of whether real fasting means abstention from all food and liquids except water. The real question to be asked is this :
Does the process of body purification, conducted under the water-extract fasting method, produce the elimination of morbid waste products as is the case under the plain water-fast method? My personal experience during a period of six years of practice of this new method as well as the experience of those who have tried the new and the old method has proved to us that not only does the new method produce an efficient elimination of waste products but it accomplishes this purification in a much easier way. Furthermore, there is a better and safer way to find out which of the two methods of fasting is the better of the two: try the new method. If you do, I am sure that you will have no further me for the old, crude, arduous, hard method of fasting.
Others have asked whether under the new method of fasting elimination of waste products takes place as fast as under the old method of water fasting. My experience is that the body purifies itself just as fast or faster. But in as much as the abundant supply of alkaline organic mineral salts in the water extracts neutralizes the acids as they are being formed and renders them easy of elimination, they pass out of the body with little or not functional disturbances. The very fact that during the new fast on water extracts hunger is also absent should indicate that the new method of fasting on water extract is also a real fast. But it would not be a fast if instead of the tinted water extracts we used fruit and vegetable juices even if they were highly diluted. For in that case hunger would soon come, meaning that the use of even diluted juices is not a fast. In fact, under the new method, when we want the fast to come to on end we add fruit juices to the extracts. When this is done, hunger soon appears and the patient is ready to break the fast.
In conclusion, the author wishes to impart to your mind the following closing words: It is now over 40 years since the author found out that by means of fasting it is possible to prevent and cure disease and retain youth for a much longer period of time. He has, therefore, fasted over 100 times during these 40 years.
