Identification:
The Bird-eating Snake is also called Puffing Snake. Black, dark brown, or green body with yellow / orange bars or blotches; yellow lips, throat and belly; to 2.5 m (8 ft). (Sabanera).
Habitat:
Low, middle, and higher elevation wet forests, Caribbean and Pacilic slopes; usually more open areas; found in trees and shrubs.
