Identification:

Smallish gray bird with black face, gray-black wings and tail; orange bill and legs; to 18 cm (7 in). (Solitario Carinegro).

Habitat:

Middle and high elevation wet forests, Caribbean and Pacific slopes; found in tree canopy or low shrubby are as, often in forest edge and other semi-open sites.

Found in the following Parks:

Arenal Volcano National Park.
Braulio Carrillo National Park.
La Amistad National Park.
Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve (Fotos).
Poás Volcano National Park.
Rincón de La Vieja National Park.
Robert & Catherine Wilson Botanical Garden.
