Identification:
The Black Myotis is also called Little Brown Bat. A tiny dark brown or black bat with small pointed snout without noseleaf; triangular, pointed ears; headand body length to 5 cm (2 in), plustail. (Murciélago Pardo).
Habitat:
Low, middle, and higher elevation forests, gardens, agricultural areas; nocturnal; flies in more open areas, along trails, streams, etc.; roosts in trees, rock crevices, buildings.
