Identification:
Small black bird with yellowish head; black on chin and around eye; bluish face, shoulders, rump; white belly; female's head greenish yellow often with dark spots; 13cm (5in). (Tangara Capuchidorada, Pájaro Arcoiris, Pájaro Siete Colores).
Habitat:
Low and middle elevation wet forests, Caribbean and southern Pacific slopes; found in tree canopy in forest interior and semi-open sites such as forest edges, clearings, shady gardens.
