Identification:

A small glossy black bird with gray rump and throat; short, squarish tail; long, slender, sweptback wings; 10cm (4 in).Top and bottom views shown. (Vencejo Lomigrís, Vencejo).

Habitat:

Lower elevations, Caribbean slope; seen flying above all types of habitats; flies continuously.

Braulio Carrillo National Park.
Cahuita National Park.
Caño Negro National Wildlife Refuge.
La Selva Biological Reserve.
Tortuguero National Park.
