Identification:

The Green Poison-arrow Frog is also called Green and Black Poison-arrow Frog. Largish poison-arrow frog; bright blue, green, or turquoise, or dark green with brownish or black splotches; 2.5to 4 cm (1to 1.5in). (Rana Venenosa).

Habitat:

Low and some middle elevation wet forests. Caribbean and southern Pacific slopes; found on forest fIoor or low vegetation.

Found in the following Parks:

Braulio Carrillo National Park.
Carara National Park.
Cahuita National Park.
Caño Negro National Wildlife Refuge.
Corcovado National Park.
Tortuguero National Park.
