Identification:

The Harlequin Snake is also called Black-banded Snake. A small snake with black and light rings that alternate along the length of its body; light rings are orange on top, pale on sides; light blue belly; black eyes; a corals nake mimic; to 60cm(2ft). (Coral Falsa).

Habitat:

Low and middle elevation wet forests, northern Pacific slope; found on the ground and in low vegetation.

Found in the following Parks:

Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve (Fotos).
Palo Verde National Park.
