Identification:
Largish brown bird with tawny or buffy head, chest, and belly; black mask around eyes; tail black with light bars; dark, hooked bill; to 55cm (22in). (Guaco, Halcón Guaco).
Habitat:
Open and semi-open areas over lowlands of Caribbean and Pacific slopes; found in forest edge areas, grasslands, agricultural areas.
