Identification:
A smallish seabird, white with grayish back and tops of wings; white ring around eye; bill reddish gray; adults during breeding have black heads and reddish bilis; 40cm (16in); wingspan1m (3.3ft). (Gaviota Reidora).
Habitat:
Marine habitat Caribbean and Pacific coasts; found along shores, beaches, islands; also seen inland near mudflats, river outlets, lake edges.

Cahuita National Park.
Corcovado National Park.
Manuel Antonio National Park.
Palo Verde National Park.
Santa Rosa Nacional Park.
Tortuguero National Park.
