Identification:

A slender triangle-headed snake; individuals of different colours may occur in the same area: (1) green, olive, or greyish with brown, tan, or rust-colored markings on head and body (not shown), (2)reddish yellow of (3) bright golden yellow, sometimes with black back spots, small dark stripe often behind eye; 2 or 3 horny, spine like, scales just out over each eye, to 75cm (30 in).

Habitat:

Llow and middle elevation wet forests of Caribbean and Pacific slopes, arboreal; often hang form vegetation with prehensile tail.
