Identification:
Male is largish green bird with red belly,
red / orange eye-ring and bill, and gray-black under tail; female is mostly gray with red belly and two toned bill: black above,reddish below; to 30cm (12in). (Trogón Coliplomizo, Trogón)
Habitat:
Low and some middle elevation wet forests, Caribbean and southern Pacific slopes; found in tree canopy in forest interior and semi open sites such as forest edges, tree plantations.

Caño Negro National Wildlife Refuge.
