Looking like the ring tailed cat
Similar to the white-nosed coati and the olingo, the cacomistle (cacomistle or olingo; Bassariscus sumichrasti; locals don't necessarily differentiate among them. The cacomistle is similar to the ring-tailed cat of North America, having a very bushy white tail with black rings and white spectacles around the eyes. Its ears are more pointed than those of the olingo and it is slimmer and lighter, but otherwise it has a similar body shape and habits. It is more common in highland than lowland forests.
