Hump Back Whales

From December to March

Out at sea whales might briefly be seen as they break the surface of the water. Off the coast of the peninsula de Osa and Parque National Marino Ballena, migrating whales, especially the hump-back whale (ballena; Megaptera novaeabglia) may be seen form December to March.
