Pottery the way their ancestors made it
From Liberia you'll be driving to Filadelfia and half way do Santa Cruz you'll reach Guaitil. Your Guide will most likely stop at a place where an indigenous potter will show you the process of how these people maintain the tradition of their art since many generations. No mechanical devices are used, not even to turn the potters table.
After the show don't just shop in this store and leave. Please take the time to visit the many other potters and if you feel like buying compare quality and prices. The black items are more difficult to make and therefore a little more expensive like the rest. At home we started to use these items, but they suffer a lot, so we recommend to just buy them for decoration purposes.
