Not just Crocodiles
During the Crocodile Man Tour, you will enjoy many wonders of Costa Rica 's nature, Flora and Fauna. We reach Tárcoles from San José in about an hour and a half drive. Once there, you will discover the wonders of Costa Rica 's nature.
Starting at the marina, a bilingual guide will join. We'll navigate along the river Tárcoles, one of the biggest of Costa Rica, where there live more crocodiles then anywhere else in the world, twenty five crocodiles per square kilometre. The Tárcoles river is one of four rivers of the Nicoya Peninsula, that reaches the Pacific Ocean.
After the Crocodile show, which you can perfectly see looking at the pictures provided here, the boat will drive into some Mangroves where you can observe an abundance of birds and water fowl. From the boat you can enjoy the natural beauty of the flora and fauna of an area with more than 50 species of birds, specially the one of our logo the Scarlet Macaw or Ara Macaw (Lapa Roja).
