Half-Day Tour -
You'll get picked up at your Hotel in the Monteverde / Santa Elena region. A beautiful short drive to the Santa Elena Rainforest will take you to the Sky-Trek installations. A short hike will get you to the first platform of the Canopy tour. Here you can observe life in the canopies. A bilingual guide will explain what you are about to see and answer your questions. On two observatory platforms you can enjoy the breathtaking 360º panoramic view of the Guanacaste San Carlos, Puntarenas lowlands and the Gulf of Nicoya.
Then you continue on 2,3 km of hiking trails and eleven individual transversal cables with a total length of over 3 km. Each one has a length from 40m to 750m. You will be flying over the tree-tops at an altitude of 20 to 160 meters When you reach the base, the bus will take you back to your hotel in the Monteverde / Santa Elena region. |
