You'll get picked up at 8:00 a.m. at the Hotel to enjoy a short ride (depending traffic) to Santa Barbara of Heredia where The Ark Herb Farm is located.
At arrival you'll get a small snack of cheese-crackers decorated with edible flower petals.
The length of this very educational tour depends of the interests of the participants, on how many questions need to get answered and on the weather conditions ( 2 to 4 hours).
During the tour a small fruit-snack is served. There are plans to build some banks to sit down for this well deserved rest.
After the tour a delicious Chicken- or Vegetarian-Lasagne and a fresh salad from the garden is served.
Calculate some time to check out and take home some of many the dried and fresh goodies available. If you live in Costa Rica and have a garden, you most likely want to take some of the herbal plants. I haven't found another place yet, where you can get Indian Basel or Turmeric Plants. |
