Your journey to La Fortuna takes less than 3 hours and will bring you through the beautiful country-side of Costa Rica with its tropical sceneries. At the Arenal Springs Resort you'll have your own villa with private terrace to see the lava flows, specially at night. (See picture 64).

There is a lot to do and see in this very special area and here is the perfect base for your adventures around the Arenal Volcano and Lagoon. Horseback-ride to the La Fortuna water-falls, try some Sky Walks, go White Water Rafting, Mountain biking, or wind surfing, and you can take it easy with bird- butterfly- and monkey-watching.
