Located 10 km west from La Fortuna, just in front of this active volcano, you'll find this small hotel called Erupciones Inn. It is owned by a young Costa Rican farmer family, and has a dairy farm, and horses. You'll have fresh milk and eggs from the farm every day at the complimentary breakfast.

The farm is surrounded by natural areas with gardens and forest with a magnificent vegetation, and a great variety of flora and fauna. Walk just 900 meters to the next Hot-springs. At this family style place they will welcome you in English, German or Spanish, and you can be assured that you'll like home away from home in a minute.
