Near the base of the Platanar Volcano and the Juan Castro Blanco National Park
In this area you'll find tropical wet forest in transition to pre-montane wet forest, with an average temperature of 24ºC (78ºF) at an elevation of 600 meters (approx. 2000 ft) above sea level.
The property, a protected ecological retreat of exceptional natural attractions, has a total extension of 140 hectares; 80 hectares of primary forest, 10 hectares of secondary forest and 50 hectares of pasture lands. Here you'llbe able to observe a remarkable variety of flora and fauna. Several trails lead through this protected reserve with its fantasy landscape of forests, rivers, and mineral hot springs.
From your room, a safe trail through the forest which is lighted in the evenings, bordering along a small river with refreshing cascades, leads you to seven hot spring pools, which vary in temperature, offering relaxation with proven therapeutic properties.
