Located just 2 kms from the Airport and 20 kms from San José. At the Bed and Breakfast Hotel Villa Pacandé, you will find the most homey and welcoming place, managed by it's owners. There are comfortable mattresses, bathrooms with hot water, and lots of vegetation around the house.
From the Central Park of Alajuela go 2 kms north towards the Volcano Póas. It's about 10 minutes from the Airport. When you arrive at the airport, take an orange taxi, this is the official taxi service there. When you leave the airport, turn left and you will see a window where they sell tickets for the orange taxis, you ask for a taxi to Hotel Pacandé. YOU DON'T NEED TO PAY, THE HOTEL PAYS. Don't take any other taxis!
