If you know that the hotel you are looking for is in a given province, this page might be the right one for you. Some Provinces (such as Cartago) have very few hotels. Puntarenas Province has the most with hotels strung out from the Nicoya Peninsula to the border of Panama, and is the main Tour and Vacation province in Costa Rica.
Santa Teresa, Malpais, Montezuma, Tambor, Herradura, Jaco, Quepos, Manuel Antonio, Dominical, Golfito, Puerto Jimenez, Playa Pavones, just to mention a few beach locations. But there are also mountain hotels in Monteverde. The Provinces of Limon and Guanacaste are the same as the Caribbean and Northern Pacific Regions.
The other Provinces (all located at least partially in the Central Valley) are San Jose, Heredia, Alajuela, and Cartago. Use this page for hotel reservations if you know Costa Rica and its different areas or if you know exactly where to find your hotel.
What is the best time of the year to come to Costa Rica? We are getting this question at least once a week. We personally like the green season best, because it is cheaper, less crowded and green, and there is an average of 5 hours sunshine even during that season. But here in Costa Rica anytime you'll have the best time of your life!
