A pristine world class surf break, remote from large tourist developments
Pablo's Picasso is one of those special hangouts for a surf vacation. The premier wave at Playa Negra has a rock bottom with perfect right-handed barrels and well defined channel for paddling out. The break has good exposure to both Northern and Southern Hemisphere swells and is quite consistent year round. December to April surfers can expect steady off-shore breezes, cloudless skies and flawless conditions. A white sand beach just 100 yards south provides swimming and boogie-boarding opportunities for the whole family. Within walking distance are numerous other breaks, including some off-shore reefs for the more adventurous.
There is a full restaurant and bar that serves a complimentary breakfast to all the guests. The 'Gallo-Pinto' is authentic and delicious and the coffee is perfect for a wakeup call before surfing. For lunch or dinner try some locally caught fish, tacos or the Pablo's Picasso specialty - 'Burgers as Big as your Head'. At Pablo's there is always lots of partying going on in the evenings. There is a pool table, ping-pong, and lots of stories to tell.
