In the centre of the Caribbean Coastal Plains in Guácimo

The Hotel Río Palmas provides clean, comfortable lodging alongside a winding river. Here not only our guests feel at home, exotic wildlife from the surrounding jungle is attracted to this 200 hectares site about 150 meters away from the main street just about in the middle between San José and Limón. Coming from San José about 10km behind Guácimo on the right hand side, coming from Limón about 15km behind Siquirres on the left hand side.

Río Palmas has a good restaurant with local meals, a small swimming pool and a bar. The surrounding rain forest can be explored on hotel-owned trails either on horse back or on foot. The hotel also has a small breeding station of poison-arrow-frogs. This Two-star hotel, it offers a convenient location, a friendly atmosphere and a beautiful garden.
