Tortuguero, as close as you can get to Paradise
You should stay at least two nights in the Samoa near the Tortuguero National Park. If you participate in a canal tour during this adventure you will see more flora and fauna than you can imagine. I saw at least fifty monkeys (three different species), a crocodile see Tortuguero Picture-Tour, a caiman, lots of toucans, parrots, trogons, poison frogs, turtles and a wide variety of birds in just a three hour boat-ride through the secondary channels. My digital camera wasn't fast enough and I didn't bring enough batteries to catch it all. A very knowledgeable guide will point out non-stop eye-openers. In the quiet surroundings and comfortable beds, you will have the deepest sleeps you have ever had, especially if a nightly shower falls onto the roof.
