The first time in my life I could not finish a giant dish of delicious Jumbo Shrimp.
No wonder that 'The Rough Guide to Costa Rica' writes that this is one of the best restaurants on the peninsula. Most of the seafood served here is caught locally so is really fresh, the menu varies according to
the catch of the day and the salads and fruits that are served are from their own garden. They say that they use organic produce whenever possible.
Some of the dishes on the menu are: Chicken filet with bacon cream sauce and mushroom pieces, Fish filet with hot mango sauce covered with pieces of sweet chilli, Rump steak in delicious red wine sauce, Tuna in oyster sauce with honey, Shrimp in a sweet, little spicy marinade (picture top left), Lobster, and more. Even if your rent the Jungalow with a kitchen, don't forget to eat here at least once. You will remember and talk about it for a long time just as we do. I can even remember breakfast as if it was yesterday.
