Birds, Nature, Horseback-rides, Waterfalls and Cigars
Don't forget to take a hike or horseback-ride to the Río Turbio o Cangreja to the Indians Jump Waterfall (see Picture Gallery). There is lots of nature to see on the way. On the way here form Puriscal, just about when the paved road ends, you'll find a Cigar Factory you shouldn't miss if you're interested in cigars, they produce some of the best cigars in Costa Rica and you can get them there for about half the regular price.
This is an unexplored destination just a kilometre away from Los Angeles - National Park La Cangreja. Located up in the mountains above Parrita, the town between Quepos and Jacó. Next time you drive to these locations use the road from Puriscal - Los Angeles - Parrita. This is the perfect destination for Nature lovers, bird-watchers or just to be away from it all.
